These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Alimenta mobile application (the “App”) provided by Alimenta Systems (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.

Use of the App

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

Nutritional Information Disclaimer

The App provides estimates of nutritional content using AI-powered analysis. These estimates are for informational purposes only and should not be considered medical or dietary advice. Always consult a healthcare professional for specific dietary needs, especially if you have allergies, medical conditions, or are taking medication.

AI-Generated Content

Meal plans, coaching suggestions, and nutritional analyses are generated by artificial intelligence. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors. You should verify important nutritional information independently.

Apple HealthKit

If you enable HealthKit integration, the App will read workout and active energy data from Apple Health. This data is used solely to display your burned calories within the App. We do not sell, share, or use HealthKit data for advertising or marketing purposes, in accordance with Apple’s HealthKit guidelines.

User Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit to the App, including food photos and meal descriptions. By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive license to process it for the purpose of providing the App’s services (e.g., AI nutritional analysis).

Subscriptions & Billing

Alimenta offers auto-renewable subscriptions through the Apple App Store. By subscribing, you agree to the following:

• A 7-day free trial is included with your first subscription. You will not be charged during the trial period.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at the confirmation of purchase, or at the end of the free trial period if applicable.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the rate of your selected plan.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your device’s Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
• Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited if you purchase a subscription before the trial ends.

Current pricing: $9.99/month or $69.99/year. Prices may vary by region and are subject to change. Any price changes will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Interfere with or disrupt the App’s servers or networks
• Create multiple accounts for abusive purposes

Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by Alimenta Systems and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without our written permission.

Service Availability

We strive to keep the App available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time with reasonable notice.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alimenta Systems shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
